Welcome Everyone

What an exciting time this last month has been. Lesa, Stacey, Rachel and I have been hard at work dreaming up ways to enrich the "Primary" experience for your families!!!!!! This Family Home Evening Blog is the first of many ideas. We want to help you make your families stronger. One of the best ways to strengthen and unify your family is by having regular Family Home Evenings.

"We advise and urge the inauguration of a Home Evening throughout the Church, at which time fathers and mothers may gather their boys and girls about them in the home, and teach them the words of God ... If the Saints obey this counsel, we promise that great blessings will result. Love at home and obedience to parents will increase, faith will be developed in the hearts of the youth of Israel, and they will gain power to combat the evil influences and temptations which beset them." The First Presidency (Joseph F. Smith)

Who doesn't want those blessings...right! We know it is easy to become carried away in our daily responsibilities and the different currents life pulls us in. That is why we have created this resource for you. We want to be there to facilitate your goals to hold regular Family Home Evenings. Every month we will post on this blog all the information, printouts, recipes etc... that you will need to teach a Family Home Evening to your children that corresponds to our monthly theme in primary. You will see a teaser every month in our hall bulletin by the primary room for the lesson that we have prepared. Hopefully we will wet your appetite with our little display and you won't be able to resist taking our ideas and bringing them into your home.
